A graduate of the Military Health School in Dakar, Dr. Serigne Magueye Gueye has pursued a dual career as an Officer/Doctor, a hospital practitioner, a university lecturer-researcher, and a leader of community projects.
He is an emerging figure in the field of healthcare at both the African and international levels, responsible for the establishment of numerous hospital and educational structures, as well as humanitarian development programs.

Dr. Serigne Magueye Gueye’s impressive career began with his admission to the competitive examination for hospital interns in Dakar in 1983.
After training in urology and andrology surgery in the university departments of Dakar hospitals, he became Head of Clinic at the Faculty of Medicine of Cheikh Anta Diop University.
He has also participated in numerous health-related focus groups, demonstrating his commitment to improving the healthcare system in Senegal and the rest of West Africa.

Dr. Serigne Magueye Gueye is an expert urologist-andrologist, with over 150 publications and scientific communications to his credit.
He is also co-founder and principal investigator of several research networks on prostate cancer among people of African descent, and a member of WHO expert committees for the evaluation of multicentre projects for the treatment of obstetric fistulas and the implementation of recommendations in the field of cancer.
