Leader of pedagogical and academic projects in the health sciences

With expertise in the field of Health Sciences education, assessment, and the implementation of training programs, Dr. Serigne Magueye Gueye is currently the Director of the Franco-Senegalese Campus (CFS), which brings together the best Senegalese and French institutions to offer new high-quality programs that address the development priorities of Senegal.

Dr. Serigne Magueye Gueye has also served as the President of the commission responsible for reforming the programs at the Faculty of Medicine of Cheikh Anta Diop University. He played an active role in the development of projects for the establishment of the Universities of Thiès, Bambey, and Ziguinchor.

He was part of the expert committee for the creation of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of St. Louis and coordinated the committee for the establishment of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ziguinchor, Amadou Mahtar MBOW University, and Touba University.

Dr. Serigne Magueye Gueye has taught Health Sciences at various Senegalese universities such as Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Gaston Berger University in St. Louis, and Thiès University.

He was a member of the Scientific and Pedagogical Council of the Doctoral School of Life Sciences and Environment (SEV) and Coordinator of the program reform commission at the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry.

He also represented the FMPO (Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry) at the University Assembly. As the coordinator of the program reform commission, he worked on modernizing and improving the programs of the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry.

Furthermore, as a member of the Scientific and Pedagogical Council of the Doctoral School of Life Sciences and Environment, he has contributed to higher education in Africa.
